Why eCorpIT

Why hire Mobile App developers through eCorpIT.

You can hire mobile app engineers in three ways: a US or UK boutique agency, a freelancer marketplace, or an India-based exporter. Each has trade-offs. Teams choose eCorpIT for two reasons — economics and founder-led delivery.

Manu Shukla personally reviews every mobile project at the architecture and milestone stages. That is not a sales pitch — it is how eCorpIT keeps senior-led delivery from drifting into mid-level execution as we scale.

US seniors $70–$160/hr
UK seniors $55–$130/hr
eCorpIT $44–$48/hr (senior)

A 40–60% vs US · ~50% vs UK saving at the same seniority, on a dedicated pod with an MSA and DPA signed before code is written. Industry rate benchmarks.

  • Senior-only delivery

No bench juniors silently doing the work. The CV you interview is the engineer who ships.

  • One pod, four roles

Engineering, design, QA and DevOps under the same roof. One point of accountability for the whole build.

  • NDA-first

Within 4 hours of your first inbound message. Mutual, India-and-UK-aligned, and we accept yours if you prefer.

  • MSA + DPA before code

Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum, GDPR + DPDP aligned, signed both sides before Sprint 1.

  • Time-zone overlap built in

Gurugram overlaps with London until 12:30 PM IST and reaches US East from 6:30 PM IST. Staffed deliberately, not by accident.

  • Weekly demos, weekly invoicing

No 4-week dark sprints with a big reveal at the end. Friday demo, Friday status note, Friday invoice.

Transparent pricing

Mobile App rate card (USD, hourly).

All-in: no recruitment fee, no setup fee, no per-NDA charge. Weekly invoicing, net 14. Native iOS sits at a small premium because senior Swift talent is scarcer; everything else is consistent across stacks.

Tier Experience Flutter / React NativeiOSAndroid
Junior 1–2 years $22/hr$24/hr$22/hr
Mid-level 3–5 years $32/hr$35/hr$32/hr
Senior 6+ years $44/hr$48/hr$44/hr
Lead / Architect 8+ years $58/hr$62/hr$58/hr

For a typical 6-month MVP at 160 hours/month with one senior engineer, that is $42K–$46K (eCorpIT senior) versus $108K–$115K (US senior midpoint). Same seniority, same shipped app.

How you work with us

Four engagement models.

You pick the one that fits how you actually want to work. We do not push everyone into the same shape.

Hourly

True Time & Materials

Weekly invoicing, minimum 40 hours per month, weekly demos. You pay only for the hours we log against your project board. Best for technical spikes, single-feature work, or maintenance on an existing codebase.

Monthly

Dedicated developer · 10% off

160 hours per month, dedicated. 10% discount on the hourly rate. The engineer attends your standups, sits in your Slack, follows your sprint cadence. Pause with 30 days’ written notice. Best for active builds.

Quarterly

Pod · 480 hours · 15% off

3-month commit, 15% discount on hourly. Includes a shared designer (40 hours) and a shared QA engineer (40 hours) at no additional cost. The pod model — a real team behind one engineer.

Project

Fixed scope · fixed price · fixed timeline

$8K (cross-platform), $10K (iOS-only) MVP starting. We own scope, milestones and acceptance criteria. Weekly demos, weekly invoicing against milestones. Best when the spec is well-defined and you want predictability.

All four models include the NDA signed before any technical conversation, an MSA with India and EU/UK-aligned clauses, a DPA aligned with GDPR and India’s DPDP Act, weekly invoicing, and a single named delivery lead for the whole engagement.

The promise

The 14-day onboarding, day by day.

This is a calendar-day commitment, not a "best efforts" promise. If we miss any of these dates, the first month of the engagement is on the house.

  1. NDA signed

Within 4 hours of your first inbound message. Sign it; the technical conversation starts immediately.

  2. Discovery call

60 minutes. Manu Shukla joins. We map the problem, target users, your existing stack and constraints. We make the stack recommendation here, in writing. You leave with a one-page strategy doc by end of day.

  3. Shortlist CVs

We send 3 anonymised CVs of senior engineers in the recommended stack, matched to your project. Each profile includes 3 shipped apps with metrics and a 30-minute video introduction recorded by the engineer.

  4. Interviews

You interview 2–3 of the shortlisted engineers. We do not block on “first available.” You pick.

  5. Team selection & plan

Engineer (or pod) finalised, engagement model agreed, draft project plan with milestones shared.

  6. MSA + DPA signed

Master Services Agreement and Data Processing Addendum (GDPR + DPDP aligned) signed both sides.

  7. Environment setup

Repository access, Slack or Teams provisioned, Jira / Linear / Asana board synced, CI/CD pipeline reviewed, secrets vault configured. Your engineer is in your environment by end of Day 9.

  8. Kick-off

Founder-led kick-off call with Manu, the delivery lead, the assigned engineer(s) and your team. Sprint 0 deliverables aligned.

  9. Sprint 1 planning + technical design

Technical design document for the first deliverable. Sprint 1 backlog locked.

  10. Sprint 1 in build

Daily standups in your timezone. Slack-first communication.

  11. First demo

Working build of the first user-facing feature on a real device (or simulator + TestFlight / Play Internal Testing). Retro. Sprint 2 plan agreed.

No surprises

Included in every Mobile App engagement.

The line items that show up as “extras” with other vendors are baked into our rates.

  • Code review by a second senior engineer on every pull request.
  • CI/CD pipeline setup (your existing pipeline, or one we recommend per stack).
  • App Store and / or Play Store submission — provisioning, code signing, store listing copy, review-process management.
  • Crashlytics, Sentry or Bugsnag integration plus weekly crash reports.
  • Accessibility audit before submission.
  • Weekly demos and a written status note every Friday.
  • Founder review at architecture, mid-build and pre-release milestones.
  • ISO 27001:2022-aligned source-code handling and access controls.

Not included unless quoted separately: Apple Developer Program ($99/year), Google Play Console (one-time $25), AI/ML model training, large-scale backend rewrites, and paid third-party SDK licences are quoted separately.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What US and UK teams ask before hiring Mobile App developers with us.

Which stack should I pick if I do not know?
The Day 1 discovery call answers this in writing. The short version: Flutter for green-field cross-platform with no React web team; React Native if you already have React on the web; iOS for iOS-only, deep native or a premium audience; Android for global reach, low-end devices or Wear OS / Android Auto.
Can I hire one mobile app developer, not a full pod?
Yes. Hourly and Monthly are single-engineer. Quarterly adds a shared designer and QA. You pick.
Do you sign NDAs before the technical call?
Yes, always. Within 4 hours of first contact. Our standard NDA is mutual, India-and-UK-aligned, and we accept yours if you prefer.
What if I do not like the first engineer you send?
The 14-day onboarding has 2–3 shortlist CVs and interviews built in. You pick. If after one sprint the fit is wrong, we replace at no cost.
What time zones do you cover?
Gurugram overlaps with London until 12:30 PM IST and with US East from 6:30 PM IST. We staff overlap deliberately, not by accident.
Who actually writes the code?
The engineer whose CV you interviewed. We do not bait-and-switch. Senior-led delivery is the operating model, not a sales line.
How do you protect my IP?
NDA + MSA + DPA before any code is written. Source repository under your account. Access controls follow ISO 27001:2022. All work-for-hire, fully assigned to you on payment.
Do you work with US startups or only enterprises?
Both. We sign NDAs with three-person seed-stage teams in the same week we sign with Fortune 500 procurement.
What happens if my project scope changes mid-build?
Hourly and Monthly absorb change naturally. Quarterly has a change-window each month. Project (fixed scope) handles change through a written change order priced at your team’s hourly rate.
Can I hire across two stacks at the same time?
Yes. A common pattern: one senior Flutter or RN engineer for the cross-platform majority, plus a senior iOS engineer for specific native modules (ARKit, HealthKit). We co-staff and co-review across the team.
Do you offer a trial period?
The first month is the trial. If after Sprint 1 (the Day 14 demo) the fit is wrong, we replace the engineer at no cost.
