The AWS CLI 2.36.30 reference lists four container-instance health check types. The ECS API Reference lists three. The drain threshold that triggers instance replacement is published in neither.

EKS raised the OIDC provider cap to 10 on 24 August 2026, but only above Kubernetes 1.32
AWS announced 10 external OIDC identity providers per EKS cluster on 24 August 2026 at no extra charge. The user guide adds a Kubernetes 1.32 floor and a 12 KB ceiling the announcement never mentions.

AKS eBPF host routing hit GA on 24 August 2026 and its enable doc still says rollout may disrupt connections
Microsoft's 24 August 2026 GA note says the eBPF host routing rollout respects existing connections. The enable page it links says the opposite and pins a Kubernetes version that died in July 2026.

Azure App Service retired Node 22 LTS for 30 April 2027 and named a target that expires 366 days later
Azure App Service published its Node 22 LTS retirement on 24 August 2026 and named Node 24 LTS as the target. The Node.js schedule puts Node 24 into maintenance 57 days later and ends it in April 2028.

Amazon SES shipped ses:custom-path on 14 August 2026 so click-tracking URLs can match Universal Links and App Links. The AWS example uses Apple legacy paths syntax, and a bad value fails silently.

AWS Glue 6.0 went generally available on 21 August 2026 with a 30% price reduction. The cut is version-gated, several meters are excluded, and Iceberg v3 tables cannot be read by Athena SQL.

AWS MCP Server OAuth 2.1 dropped the proxy on 9 July 2026, and dropped cross-account profile switching with it
OAuth 2.1 removes the local proxy from AWS MCP Server setups. It also removes per-call AWS profile switching, which is the one feature consultancies working across client accounts actually rely on.

Azure's 1,000-prefix ExpressRoute ceiling: summarizedGatewayPrefixes replaces the hub VNet prefix
Azure's ExpressRoute gateway advertises at most 1,000 IPv4 prefixes to on-premises and Premium does not lift it. summarizedGatewayPrefixes substitutes prefixes rather than adding them.

AWS says there is no additional cost to generate a SageMaker inference recommendation. Its own EAGLE documentation shows optimization jobs running on training instances for up to 120 hours across ten nodes.
