Direct Connect prefix limit rose to 1,000 on 20 August 2026 - your VIFs still default to 100
On 20 August 2026 AWS lifted Direct Connect inbound prefixes from 100 to 1,000 per virtual interface. Azure ExpressRoute answers the same scale problem the opposite way, and the two ceilings do not line up.
